Emerging Change Tanzfestival nurtures artistic collaboration, provides non-hierarchical artistic mentorship, fosters community exchange, and promotes a care-based working culture for and with Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People of Color (QTBIPoC) dance artists and allies.
Events will be held at seven partner venues spread throughout Berlin including Dock 11 GmbH, Uferstudios GmbH, Tanzfabrik Berlin e.V., Tanzfabrik Kreuzberg gUG, Karada House gUG, Prinzessinnengarten Kollektiv Berlin, and OUCH.
Emerging Change Tanzfestival is looking for volunteers to join us from November 2–22, 2026. As a grassroots QTBIPoC dance festival, our work is made possible through collective action, care, and collaboration. Volunteers are an essential part of creating a welcoming, accessible, and smoothly running festival. Whether you’d like to support us throughout the festival or at a single event, we’d love to hear from you. Opportunities include artist care, production, catering, awareness, access care, infopoint, and general team support.Interested?
